Whispering Angel Books is now accepting submissions for its next anthology, Living Lessons. The deadline is May 31, 2010.

Living Lessons will focus on people who have positively impacted our lives by teaching us, directly or indirectly, important life lessons.

• Did someone help you learn a critical life lesson that changed you for the better?
• Did they turn you around when you were going down the wrong path?
• Did they open up your mind in a way that changed your life?

Your work should be uplifting, inspirational and should have imparted a valuable lesson that has affected you positively and your outlook on life. Ideal submissions will illustrate how you are applying that lesson in your life today.

Submissions Requirements:

Short stories, personal essays or poems, typed, written in English, and less than 1,500 words. Submissions are accepted by email only and will not be returned. They can be attached as a Microsoft Word document or included in the body of the email. Stories and essays should be double-spaced. Multiple submissions will be accepted.

There is no fee to submit your work and no obligation to purchase any books. If your work is selected, you will receive one free copy as compensation. You will retain all rights to your work, but you will need to sign a release for publication.
